The popular afternoon tea, developed in collaboration with Tsujiri Heihei Honten, the oldest tea store founded in 1860, is being held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo at Le Jardin until the end of June this year. This annual project, launched in 2016, celebrates its ninth year this year: the exquisite aroma of green tea and the freshness of the first days of summer are perfect for the start of the season.
The upper level serves various sweets including green tea Mochi and green tea pudding in a glass, green tea and banana filled sandwich, green tea donut and others. Three types of scones are presented at the middle level.
In addition, the lower level offers appetizers: ricotta with walnut caramel, garnished with leaves of fresh herbs, and a shiso leaf sandwich with green tea sauce. These dishes promise a total immersion in the oji tea experience.
